Powered Paragliding, Paramotoring, PPG - news

May 8/07      Quick flight.

At 3 pm wind was about 15 km gusting occasionally to 20 km.  Perfect.  I figured the forecast promised gradual wind decrease so this will be the day when Ajay has his first flight...

May 8/07      More ground handling with Ajay.

BTW: Snoovy is very talented folk singer who plays guitar and writes her own music. Go to to listen to samples or buy CD. I have one in my car and love it!

May 3/07      April 2007 course - day 3.

Ajay and Peter could not make today's training due to work responsibilities so it was me and Snoovy Groovy at the field. When we got there at 2 pm it was still tad gusty so we proceeded to more glider handling. Short break and after we are ready for some practice taxiing...

Take off, climb to 2000 ft then travel at 110 km per hour down wind. I figured I could make it to Montreal on one tank of gas....

April 29/07      April 2007 course - day two.

Sunday was much better day for ground handling. No rain, lots of sun and brisk wind. The field was bit wet,  but usable. At 11 am Mark, my self, Lauren (otherwise known as "Snoovy") and Ajay gathered at Sodom Rd. field.  Day started with learning how to untangle paraglider lines, hook paraglider to training harness, build wall and all the other usual stuff...

April 28/07     Three students start their PPG training.

The ground school went smooth. It was raining in the afternoon so rather then going to field for kiting/flying we went for lunch to Ricky Joes. It was lots of fun to learn about what Ajay (thanks for lunch) and Lauren do for living and discuss religion, art, astrology and palm reading...
