Fly in 2006
There are some rumors about fly-in at Sodom Rd field the weekend
of Sep 16 and 17. That is a wrong date! The date for fly in has been
set for the weekend of Sep 29, 30 and Oct 1.
Dora's restaurant was sold and is currently closed for
renovations.I am not sure if it will be open in time. We will
camp along the side of Bossert road - the gravel road that we use to
drive in to the end of the runway. I will get a portable washroom
and cost will be divided between attendees.
Bring all you need to survive at the edge of the field for couple
of days. Dan says that he would take care of Sat night dinner for
everyone. The cost will be reasonable.
All are invited, bring friend/s along. If you are going to fly
make sure you are legal. You need to have your license or student
pilot permit. Any questions just call.
Lets hope the weather is good.
Trip to cloud 9
After minor repair
on one of my training units I needed to jump in the air for test
run. When I came to Staff field clouds were low. I took off and soon
found my self playing with the fluffy cumulus... I spent total of 1
hour 30 min in the air.
I am off for family trip. No flying this W/E. I
will be back Sunday evening.
It is fun to fly standing in the seat...
06 Thermalling, Staff show
and XC with Mark and Chris - Aug 15/06
On Wednesday Mr.
Staff was hosting association of cattle farmers and he asked us to
fly by as to entertain the crowd in exchange for use of his
perfectly cut runway. Well that was the least we could do. I picked
Mark at work around 4:30 pm and off we went....
I am off today till Sunday. No flying this W/E.

We did some ground handling and land kiting as winds picked up

Sebastian in simulator
We have completed ground school and 3 hrs of ground handling.
Wind was good for kiting but too turbulent for beginners to fly. We
will get together soon to resume training.
First solo PPG trike for Marc - Aug 8, 2006
I will be out of the office till Thursday afternoon
Ground handling with Marc
Marc took PPG training with Eric Dufour 2 years ago and managed
one solo PPG flight. He purchased Walkerjet unit and came down to
refresh his skills.
Imad flies again
After 2 years Imad decided to go back to PPG. We spent 3 hrs on
Fri working on inflations and 2 hrs yesterday practicing trike take
offs. After sufficient amount of training Imad launched flawlessly,
flew 1 hour and landed ever softly...
Congrats Imad on your second flight.
Viktor from Walkerjet visits.
Viktor from Walkerjet came for visit to discuss our future business
strategy. He wanted to see Csaba's electric paramotor so we hooked
up at Sodom Rd. Csaba did not fly the electric. The weather was
