PPG PARAMOTORING COURSES AND LESSONS

Preparatory ground school will include all the theoretical information that you need to fly solo for the first time under instructor supervision such as:

We will start at 8 am sharp at Peaks Indoor Rock Climbing Club where we will complete 5.5 hours of preparatory ground school that will cover: 

  • Basic principles of PPG aerodynamics 

  • Paraglider and paramotor flight principles 

  • General aviation principles and rules 

  • Non powered flight simulator 

  • Pre-solo exam 

  • Student pilot permit

  • Weather 

We will finish by 1:30 pm

Ground school will include all the theoretical information that you need to fly solo without instructor's help and supervision such as:

  • Advanced weather forecasting

  • Flight location selection 

  • Proper flight decisions

  • Cross country flight information

  • Canadian airspace

  • Equipment care and maintenance

The ground school will be completed any time during the course. There is no particular time scheduled for this as I often fill down times with the ground school info such as when wind may get too strong to go on with ground handling or flying etc.
