Motor practice at the field - here is short video.
We are being baked alive. Temperature 120 degrees. Light variable winds....powered paragliding pilot's nightmare....Those who fly know what I mean. Lots done nonetheless. Sun morning. Started to ground handle and got rained on. Waited it out as it was just summer sprinkle. Went back to ground handling. See short video here. Tom has improved to the point where I have given him the motor to practice with. 10 min later he was in the air.
It was perfectly controlled take off.
Tom only flew for 15 min as we knew that front was coming and high winds were supposed to hit soon.
From two dimensions to three in about 8.5 hours of training.
It does help though if you are stunt man and ride motorcycles for living...
